SZA Parts Ways with Top Dawg Entertainment Manager Terrence 'Punch' Henderson
R&B superstar SZA has officially ended her professional relationship with longtime manager Terrence "Punch" Henderson, co-president of Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). Their collaboration, which began in 2012, was instrumental in SZA's rise to musical stardom.

The announcement came through SZA's Instagram Story, where she gracefully acknowledged the end of their partnership while expressing gratitude and respect for Punch. "Nothing to celebrate. The end of an era. I wish him the best, whatever his choices may be," she stated.
The split appears to stem from recent tensions surrounding the release of "Lana," the deluxe version of her album "SOS." SZA revealed that certain tracks, including "PSA" and "Take You Down," faced complications after Punch's abrupt departure, despite prior discussions about their release.
During their partnership, SZA achieved remarkable success, including:
- Release of two critically acclaimed albums: "Ctrl" and "SOS"
- "SOS" debuting at No. 1 on Billboard 200
- Maintaining the top position for 10 consecutive weeks
- Establishing herself as one of her generation's most influential voices
Despite the separation, SZA has urged her fans to remain respectful, stating, "I love Punch deeply. NO ONE should be attacking him or being cruel on my behalf. Sometimes people grow apart, and that's okay."
While TDE has not issued an official statement regarding the split, both parties appear to be maintaining a professional stance as they move forward independently.
