Andrew Tate's podcast featuring content about "pimping hoes" has been removed from Spotify following employee complaints and a petition signed by 92,000 people. The removal aligns with Spotify's policy prohibiting dehumanizing content targeting specific groups or individuals.

While only the specific podcast course was removed, other content from Tate remains available on the platform, including material about dating advice. A Spotify spokesperson clarified that the removal was based on policy violations rather than public pressure.

This continues Tate's pattern of deplatforming, following previous bans from YouTube and TikTok. The controversy comes amid serious legal troubles for both Andrew and his brother Tristan Tate, who face charges in Romania for human trafficking of minors and sexual exploitation.

Romanian authorities allege the Tates used "loverboy" manipulation tactics to exploit victims for online pornographic content, generating approximately $2.8 million in illegal proceeds. Their arrest followed a social media exchange with climate activist Greta Thunberg that revealed their location to authorities.

Spotify historically takes a measured approach to content removal. For example, while R. Kelly's music was removed from promotional playlists following his convictions, his content remains available on the platform but is no longer actively promoted through algorithmic recommendations.
