The anonymous accuser's legal team filed a dismissal with prejudice, meaning the case cannot be refiled. The withdrawal came after the accuser admitted in an interview that "not all the facts are clear" and suggested possible misidentification of the alleged perpetrators.

While Jay-Z is now cleared, Diddy continues to face significant legal challenges. He remains in custody facing over 30 civil cases involving sexual misconduct and federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. His trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025, after being denied bail three times since his September 2024 arrest.
