The three-hour special, "Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music," explores five decades of iconic performances, featuring exclusive interviews with over 50 renowned artists including Elvis Costello, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Mick Jagger, and Dua Lipa.

The documentary offers unprecedented access to behind-the-scenes stories and rare footage, with insights from SNL creator Lorne Michaels and notable cast members including Eddie Murphy, Maya Rudolph, and Kenan Thompson.

"Everyone knows the most famous SNL appearances, whether it's Elvis Costello, Prince, or the Beastie Boys, but they're the tip of the iceberg," says Questlove, emphasizing the depth of musical history the documentary uncovers.

The project is produced by Two One Five Entertainment, RadicalMedia, and Broadway Video, with executive production from industry veterans including Lorne Michaels, Questlove, and Zarah Zohlman.

This documentary launches alongside SNL's 50th-anniversary celebrations, which include a four-part docuseries "SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night" premiering January 16, followed by a live prime-time special on February 16.
