Paramount+ has announced a new feature-length documentary, "Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now," chronicling the rock legend's recent struggles and his preparation for a final performance.

The documentary, currently in production and set to premiere on Paramount+ later this year, focuses on Osbourne's journey since his life-altering fall in 2019. It captures intimate moments during the recording of his 13th studio album, Patient Number 9, and follows him through to his planned farewell performance with Black Sabbath in Birmingham on July 5.

"The last six years have been full of some of the worst times I've been through," Osbourne reveals. "Making music and making two albums saved me. I'd have gone nuts without music."

BAFTA Award winner Tania Alexander directs the film, which features unprecedented access to Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne, and their children. The documentary includes appearances from notable musicians including Tony Iommi, Duff McKagan, Robert Trujillo, Billy Idol, Maynard James Keenan, Chad Smith, and Zakk Wylde.

Sharon Osbourne emphasizes the documentary's authenticity: "This film is an honest account of what has happened to Ozzy during the last few years, showing his courage while dealing with serious health issues, including Parkinson's."

The project is produced by Echo Velvet in partnership with the Osbournes and MTV Entertainment Studios, with executive producers Bruce Gillmer, Amanda Culkowski, Phil Alexander, and Sharon Osbourne at the helm.

Osbourne plans to bid farewell to his fans at Villa Park, stating, "My fans have supported me for so many years, and I really want to thank them and say a proper goodbye to them."
