Attorney Ariel Mitchell, representing the unnamed witness, states her client has presented video clips to a federal grand jury showing alleged incidents involving Combs and other entertainment industry figures. The witness was contacted by Homeland Security agents and subpoenaed to submit digital files and video footage related to the case.
The witness also claims to possess unedited writings by Kim Porter, Combs' former partner who passed away in 2018. These writings may soon be published through Amazon, though a previous attempt to publish Porter's memoir was stopped when her children questioned its authenticity.
Combs' trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025. This new evidence comes amid multiple allegations of sex trafficking, racketeering, and violence against him. While Combs and his legal team maintain his innocence, the addition of video evidence and Porter's alleged writings could significantly impact the case's outcome.
The federal grand jury's evaluation of this new evidence will be crucial in shaping the prosecution's narrative. Legal experts suggest that if deemed credible, this evidence could present substantial challenges for Combs' defense as he faces one of the most scrutinized legal battles of the year.
