Netflix Brings Spatial Audio Feature to Original Content Series and Films
Netflix is rolling out spatial audio support through a partnership with Sennheiser, initially available for Netflix Originals content only. The feature launched on July 7 and currently supports 27 titles, including popular shows like Stranger Things and The Witcher.
Using Sennheiser's AMBEO 2-Channel spatial audio technology, Netflix translates immersive mixes into enhanced two-channel audio, making it the first streaming platform to offer this technology for two-channel speaker systems.
