Morgan Wallen Gets 7-Day Sentence at DUI Education Center After Guilty Plea
Morgan Wallen faces legal consequences after throwing a chair from a Nashville rooftop bar. The country music star pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment and received the following sentence:
- 7 days at DUI Education Center
- 2 years probation
- $350 fine plus court fees
- Conditional guilty plea with possibility of dismissal and expungement upon completing probation

The incident occurred on April 7 at Chief's Bar in Nashville, where police officers witnessed a chair falling from the six-story building's rooftop. Wallen was subsequently arrested and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
His attorney, Worrick Robinson IV, stated that Wallen has fully cooperated with authorities and apologized to all involved parties. Wallen himself addressed the incident on social media, accepting responsibility and expressing respect for law enforcement.
The 31-year-old artist was recently named Entertainer of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards, though he was not present to accept the award.
