Min Hee-Jin Steps Down from ADOR Following Intense Leadership Dispute with Hybe
Min Hee-Jin, former CEO of ADOR, has officially announced her resignation following a seven-month dispute with parent company Hybe. The conflict began after joining Hybe in 2019 and later becoming CEO of ADOR in 2021, where she successfully launched the girl group NewJeans.

The controversy erupted when Hybe initiated an internal audit, accusing Min and her team of attempting to seize control of ADOR. Min denied these allegations, claiming they were retaliation for her whistleblowing activities. The situation escalated into multiple lawsuits, resulting in the dismissal of previous ADOR shareholders and Min's removal as CEO in August.
After the Seoul Central District Court rejected her reinstatement injunction, Min decided to leave her position as internal director at Hybe. In her resignation letter, she vowed to pursue legal action against Hybe for violating shareholders' agreements and promised to continue her career in the K-pop industry.
Min expressed gratitude to NewJeans fans (Bunnies) and supporters while warning against potential defamation attempts. She stated, "Hybe's moral hazard has already reached its peak, and although their dirty media play will likely continue, I'm not worried, as most people have now reached the point where they can read through the pattern."
The former CEO concluded her statement by criticizing certain individuals' actions as damaging to the "essence of the business." Hybe has not yet issued a response to Min's resignation announcement.
