The track, released in August, debuted at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and maintained an eight-week reign at #1 on the Billboard Global 200. Following its initial success, acoustic and "Live in Las Vegas" versions were released in October. The song has earned nominations for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
The duo first performed the song live at Mars' Los Angeles Intuit Dome show, followed by a performance at his Las Vegas Park MGM residency. Gaga expressed gratitude on Instagram, celebrating the song's impact on fans worldwide.
This achievement adds to both artists' impressive track records, with Gaga now holding eight Pop Airplay #1 hits and Mars tying Justin Bieber's record of 10 #1 hits among male solo artists.
Gaga is currently promoting her seventh album, scheduled for February release, with its lead single "Disease" already out. She recently released "Harlequin," a companion album to "Joker: Folie à Deux," where she stars alongside Joaquin Phoenix.
Mars has also found success in other collaborations, including Rosé's "Apt," which accumulated over 100 million Spotify streams in its first week.
