Kendrick Lamar has surpassed Drake to become the rapper with the highest monthly listeners on Spotify, reaching an unprecedented 88.8 million listeners. This milestone comes following his spectacular Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show performance.

Among all artists on Spotify, Lamar now ranks behind Bruno Mars (151 million monthly listeners) and The Weeknd (124.5 million). His recent success extends beyond just listener counts:

  • Dominated Spotify's US Top 50 with five tracks in the top positions:

    • "Not Like Us"
    • "luther (with SZA)"
    • "tv off"
    • "All the Stars (with SZA)"
    • "squabble up"
  • Achieved #1 most-streamed artist status both globally and in the US

  • Placed 28 songs on Spotify's daily top 200 songs chart

  • Topped Apple Music's charts with "Not Like Us"

  • Secured #1 and #2 positions on iTunes with albums GNX and DAMN

This success follows the surprise release of his latest album GNX two months ago. Lamar has also announced new tour dates with SZA following his Super Bowl performance, where he showcased both new material and classic hits like "HUMBLE," "Money Trees," and "Alright."
