The project will include:

  • Free studio access for those who cannot afford recording time
  • A network of funded engineers to provide training
  • Regular maintenance and engineering support
  • Managed time slots distributed by the centers

While acknowledging the advances in home recording technology, Antonoff emphasizes the unique value of professional studio spaces. "Working with analog gear and creating sounds that are impossible to recreate is powerful," he explains. "Knowing you are in a space for a limited amount of time and pushing yourself to the edge is vital."

The initiative aims to:

  • Make studio recording accessible to everyone, regardless of financial means
  • Focus initially on LGBTQ+ youth shelters
  • Expand to additional cities over time
  • Create opportunities for aspiring musicians and producers

Antonoff is currently seeking partners and resources to help launch the project. Interested parties with relevant resources are encouraged to reach out via email to support the initiative.

The announcement comes as Antonoff prepares for Bleachers' upcoming show at Madison Square Garden, while also celebrating his recent production work on the new Bartees Strange album.
