"Glory to Hong Kong," a protest anthem that was previously removed from streaming platforms following a court injunction, has now reappeared on Spotify and Apple Music through a new distributor.

DGX Music has re-uploaded the song with multiple versions, including an acapella single and a Permanent Edition EP featuring orchestral, instrumental, music box, and English variations. The uploads are now attributed to 7196175 Records DK, with Distrokid handling distribution.

The song's return follows a Hong Kong appeals court ruling that deemed it a potential tool for inciting unrest. The original distributor, EmuBands, had removed the song in compliance with the court order. However, DGX Music maintained that the song itself was not banned and vowed to restore its availability.

"Unjustified repression will not silence the people, and even if we lose our instruments and our accompaniment, even if we lose a publisher, our pursuit of freedom and democracy will never end," DGX Music stated in Chinese.

Originally released in August 2019 during pro-democracy protests, the song includes the phrase "Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our times," which authorities consider pro-independence speech - now illegal under the 2020 Hong Kong national security law.
