The Recording Academy and MusiCares have pledged $1 million to support music professionals affected by the wildfires. The 67th Annual Grammy Awards telecast on February 2 will incorporate fundraising efforts for wildfire relief and honor first responders.

MusiCares' 2025 Person of the Year celebration will honor The Grateful Dead on January 31, featuring posthumous tributes to Jerry Garcia and Phil Lesh, alongside recognition of surviving members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and Bobby Weir.

Major music companies including Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, and Sony Music Group have cancelled their Grammy week events. Billboard has also followed suit with cancellations.

While the main Grammy Awards ceremony is confirmed to proceed, The Recording Academy has yet to announce the status of other Grammy week events, including the Special Merit Awards scheduled for February 1.
