Dr. Dre currently owns and operates Aftermath Entertainment, a record label he founded in 1996 after leaving Death Row Records. Aftermath Entertainment operates as a subsidiary of Interscope Records, which is part of Universal Music Group.

Throughout its history, Aftermath Entertainment has been home to some of hip-hop's biggest names. The label's first major success came with the signing of Eminem in 1998, whose album "The Slim Shady LP" put Aftermath on the map. Since then, the label has represented notable artists like 50 Cent, The Game, and Kendrick Lamar.

I should note that while Dr. Dre has been associated with other record labels throughout his career, including Death Row Records (which he co-founded with Suge Knight) and his role as an executive at Apple Music, Aftermath Entertainment remains his primary record label venture.

The label continues to be active today, though it maintains a selective roster of artists. Dr. Dre uses Aftermath not only to release his own music but also to discover and develop new talent in the hip-hop industry. His most recent album, "Compton," was released through Aftermath Entertainment in 2015.

Key achievements of Aftermath Entertainment include:

Multiple Grammy Awards
Over 30 million albums sold worldwide
Launch of several successful hip-hop careers
Numerous platinum and multi-platinum releases

While Dr. Dre has expanded his business ventures into other areas like headphones (Beats by Dre) and streaming services, Aftermath Entertainment remains his primary music industry enterprise, continuing to influence the direction of hip-hop and modern music.
