Following federal raids on Diddy's Miami and Los Angeles homes, his attorney Aaron Dyer has issued a statement defending the rapper against allegations of sex trafficking.

The raids, conducted by Homeland Security, involved seizing phones and computers from the properties. Five individuals have been interviewed in New York as part of a sex trafficking and RICO criminal investigation. Diddy, who was seen at a Miami airport customs office, cooperated with authorities during the investigation.

Dyer's statement strongly criticized the "military-level force" used during the raids, stating:

"Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs' residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated."

The attorney emphasized that Diddy:

  • Was not detained
  • Has not been arrested
  • Faces no travel restrictions
  • Cooperated fully with authorities

Dyer characterized the raids as an "unprecedented ambush" with coordinated media presence, calling it a "witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits." He maintained that there has been no finding of criminal or civil liability, asserting Diddy's innocence.

In a related development, Brendan Paul was arrested on drug charges while attempting to board Diddy's private jet. While these charges appear unrelated to Diddy directly, a former producer's civil suit describes Paul as a "mule" who allegedly distributed drugs and firearms for the artist.
