The festival, which evolved from a local gin festival in 2016 to a major music event attracting 25,000 attendees, has featured legendary performers including Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, and Lionel Richie.

While organizers haven't explicitly stated the reason for cancellation, rising costs affecting the live music industry likely played a role. The festival joins over 170 other music events that have been cancelled or postponed in recent years.

In their farewell statement, organizers expressed gratitude to attendees: "After seven golden years in the festival field with you, we are now taking a few moments to reflect and look at what the future holds for this special community of music fans."
