Cambridge Club Festival Joins Growing List of 170+ Canceled Music Events for 2025
Cambridge Club Festival announces its cancellation for 2025 after seven successful years of operation at Childerley Orchard. The festival, which evolved from a local gin festival in 2016 to a major music event attracting 25,000 attendees, has featured legendary performers including Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, and Lionel Richie.

While organizers haven't explicitly stated the reason for cancellation, rising costs affecting the live music industry likely played a role. The festival joins over 170 other music events that have been cancelled or postponed in recent years.
In their farewell statement, organizers expressed gratitude to attendees: "After seven golden years in the festival field with you, we are now taking a few moments to reflect and look at what the future holds for this special community of music fans."
The festival's most recent edition featured performances from notable artists including:
- Chaka Khan
- Jessie Ware
- Earth Wind & Fire Experience
- Melanie C
- Natasha Bedingfield
The organizers promise to share updates about potential future plans, concluding their statement with appreciation for "all the incredible memories together, and for joining us on the CC journey."
