The film is being developed by Compelling Pictures and Primary Wave, with original members Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Wanya Morris serving as executive producers. Denis O'Sullivan ("Bohemian Rhapsody") and Jeff Kalligheri ("I Wanna Dance With Somebody") are leading the project as producers and are currently in talks with writers and directors.

The biopic will feature the group's extensive catalog of hits, including "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday," "One Sweet Day," and "On Bended Knee." It promises to showcase both the triumphs and challenges of the group's journey, highlighting their brotherhood, struggles, and unprecedented success in the music industry.

"We've been waiting to find the right partners who understand our story and are willing to tell it all," says Nathan Morris, emphasizing the importance of authentic storytelling in this project.

The film will explore the group's rise to fame since their 1991 debut, their impact on R&B music, and their continuing influence in the industry. Currently, Boyz II Men maintains an active touring schedule, recently selling out a three-night engagement at the Hollywood Bowl - a significant milestone from their early days as an opening act at the same venue.

Primary Wave's Larry Mestel notes, "Boyz II Men are one of the most influential bands of a generation. They are one of the few who transcend genre and format."
