The tour announcement was initially planned for January 14 but was delayed due to Los Angeles wildfires. Beyoncé contributed $2.5 million to local relief efforts through her BeyGood Foundation during this time.

The announcement follows her memorable Christmas Day Halftime performance in Houston, where she debuted several tracks from Cowboy Carter live, including:

  • "Texas Hold 'Em"
  • "16 Carriages"
  • "Sweet Honey Buckiin'" (featuring Shaboozey)
  • "Levii's Jeans" (featuring Post Malone)
  • Covers of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" and The Beatles' "Blackbird"

The performance also featured a special appearance by Blue Ivy, Beyoncé's daughter with Jay-Z, during the finale.

Beyoncé leads the 2025 Grammy Awards with 11 nominations, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Country Solo Performance. As the most-decorated Grammy artist with 32 wins, she still pursues her first Album of the Year award.
