A.R. Rahman Launches Bharat Maestro Awards to Honor Indian Classical Music Legends
A.R. Rahman announces the launch of the Bharat Maestro Awards through his KM Music Conservatory to honor and preserve Indian classical music legacy while fostering new talent.
The initiative, announced on Rahman's birthday, aims to bridge generations of musical excellence by recognizing established legends and supporting emerging artists in Indian classical music.

The awards program features an impressive mentor panel including Asha Bhosle, Amjad Ali Khan, Bombay Jayashri, and Ajoy Chakrabarty. The advisory board comprises industry experts Ila Paliwal, Sai Shravanam, Bharat Bala, Fathima Rafiq, Khatija Rahman, Adam Greig, and Clint Valladares.

The initiative coincides with KM Music Conservatory's 16th anniversary, reinforcing its commitment to maintaining international education standards while preserving India's musical heritage. The conservatory offers comprehensive programs in Western and Indian Classical traditions, along with music technology.
