
American Federation of Musicians Joins Forces with Entertainment Union Coalition in California
The American Federation of Musicians (AFM) has officially joined the Entertainment Union Coalition of California (EUC), strengthening the collective voice of entertainment industry professionals.

The EUC now comprises several major entertainment unions:
- California IATSE Council
- Directors Guild of America
- LiUNA! Local 724
- SAG-AFTRA
- Teamsters Local 399
- American Federation of Musicians
AFM International President Tino Gagliardi emphasizes the significance of this alliance: "This is a critical time for musicians. Together, we will work to fortify a sustainable entertainment sector and increase career opportunities for musicians in California."
The coalition's current priorities include:
- Expanding California's Film & Television tax incentives
- Promoting workers' rights
- Ensuring fair wages and working conditions
- Supporting entertainment production opportunities in California
