Adidas Sells Last of Yeezy Inventory, Officially Closing Kanye West Chapter
Adidas has officially sold all remaining Yeezy inventory, marking the end of its turbulent partnership with Kanye West (Ye). The company's Chief Financial Officer Harm Ohlmeyer confirmed, "There is not one Yeezy shoe left. It has all been sold, and that episode is behind us."

The collaboration, which began in 2013 and was valued at $1 billion, ended in late 2022 following Ye's antisemitic comments on social media. Adidas immediately cut ties with the rapper, stating they do not tolerate hate speech and that West's actions violated their values of diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect.
Throughout 2023 and most of 2024, Adidas experienced a 2% decline in US sales primarily due to reduced Yeezy sales. The company began liquidating its remaining stock in mid-2023, pledging to donate portions of the proceeds to organizations like the Anti-Defamation League to combat antisemitism.
The end of this partnership significantly impacted both parties. Forbes reported that approximately $1.5 billion of West's net worth was tied to the Adidas collaboration. While West continues to use the Yeezy brand name independently, including a controversial Super Bowl ad campaign, Adidas has now completely moved past the partnership, selling through all remaining inventory.
